BLS Lasertechnology GmbH is an owner-managed company with many years of experience in laser processing. It is considered a leading expert for complex orders in the field of laser material processing of metal components – especially in laser welding and laser metal deposition (LMD).
Contact Persons
The BLS team has extensive and deep expertise in laser processing. With a pronounced problem-solving competence, BLS helps its customers from the development of new components to serial production. The team is based at the BLS site in Grafenau-Döffingen, near Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg) in Germany.
Carsten Paul
As Technical Managing Director, Mr. Paul is responsible for production, development and quality assurance. He has over 20 years of experience in laser material processing, including 17 years at TRUMPF Laser und Systemtechnik GmbH. Mr. Paul has a degree in mechanical engineering / SGD and is a master of precision mechanics.
Constantin Reutersberg
Mr. Reutersberg is Head of Sales at BLS and, as a member of the Executive Board, is also responsible for Marketing, Human Resources, Quality Management and IT. He has over 10 years of experience in business development and management of medium-sized companies as well as a Bachelor's and Master's degree in business administration.
Katja Berner
Ms. Berner is the sales contact for our customers and is responsible for all inquiries relating to laser material processing. As a graduate industrial engineer (FH), she has over 20 years of experience in B2B companies in medium-sized industry.
Ramona Geissler
Ms. Geissler is mainly responsible for application development and is deputy production manager. Before joining BLS, Ms. Geissler headed the Laser Cutting and Powder Cladding team at Trumpf's Laser Application Center in Ditzingen. Ms. Geissler has over 14 years of experience in laser material processing and is a graduate engineer (FH) in the field of laser technology.
Steffen Stork
With more than 14 years of experience in laser material processing, Mr. Stork leads the quality management and is the contact for material science questions at BLS. Previously, he was Global Process Specialist at a Tier 1 automotive supplier. Mr. Stork holds a degree in engineering and has additional training as a welding engineer (IWE/SFI)
Joachim Martin
As a founding partner, Mr. Martin has over 35 years of experience in laser processing, including 17 years at TRUMPF Laser und Systemtechnik GmbH. His focus is on design, fixture construction and optimization of laser systems. Mr. Martin holds a degree in engineering.
Nina Reichart
Ms. Reichart manages the areas HR and finance, and is our primary contact for all commercial topics. As business economist, she has over 15 years of professional experience in German Mittelstand companies.
Sandra Sprenger
Ms. Sprenger has over 20 years of experience in financial accounting and has worked in various tax firms and SMEs. Ms Sprenger holds a degree in business administration.
Dr. Philipp Benzinger
Mr. Benzinger is Managing Director of the parent company of BLS and is responsible for business area development and the inorganic growth of the Group. Until 2023, he headed BLS Lasertechnology GmbH himself as Managing Director. Mr. Benzinger holds a degree in industrial engineering.

Since its foundation in 2002, BLS Lasertechnology GmbH has grown steadily and has developed into a leading supplier of laser processing of metal components. As a laser technology company, BLS is characterized by in-depth expertise, many years of experience and a powerful, flexible machine park with various Trumpf laser systems.
Today, BLS Lasertechnology is considered an expert for individual and customized solutions in laser welding, laser metal deposition, 3D laser cutting and laser hardening. A team of experienced employees ensures the best quality and fast, flexible processing of orders.
With three production areas and its own logistics area, the production facility in Grafenau-Döffingen near Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg, Germany) offers sufficient space for the delivery, storage, cleaning and processing of series orders. Even large-scale with annual quantities in the million range present no problem for the facility.
A total of 8 laser systems with different Trumpf lasers (CO2 laser, YAG / solid-state laser) – enable a wide range in 3D laser processing and laser surface treatment. The machinery allows the processing of different materials and geometries.

Do you need help with laser processing or require support in your product development process (PEP) with regard to joining methods?
A large part of the laser applications consists of laser welding of metal parts, such as laser welding of stainless steel, laser welding of titanium or laser welding of aluminum. Laser welding of copper and laser welding of nickel are also increasingly being performed by BLS in the course of electromobility.
Over many years, BLS has built up a broad customer base with a large number of long-term partnerships. Customers are leading companies from a wide range of industries, such as the automotive industry, the commercial vehicle industry, machine and plant engineering, toolmaking, the power tools sector, and the aerospace industry.
